LUFTHANSA

Yes Campaign

This film served as a high-energy centerpiece for the Lufthansa "Yes" campaign, a comprehensive initiative designed to inspire audiences to embrace travel, opportunity, and new experiences.

Our core challenge was to translate the simple yet powerful concept of saying "Yes" into a compelling visual language. We achieved this through a meticulous combination of highly adventurous and dynamic camera work—featuring sweeping vistas, kinetic movement, and unexpected perspectives—interwoven with bold, custom type animation.

This rapid-fire, engaging visual style was engineered specifically to capture and hold the viewer's attention, creating a distinct, positive visual identity for the airline. By associating exhilarating and authentic travel moments with the central "Yes" concept, the film successfully positioned flying with Lufthansa not merely as transportation, but as the catalyst for an amazing, positive, and life-affirming experience.

The result is a dynamic campaign asset that directly encourages viewers to act on their travel aspirations.

My primary role was defining the creative approach to visually communicate the campaign's core "Yes" concept. This involved strategic experimentation with various type animation techniques and camera movements to ensure maximum viewer engagement and conceptual clarity. I then took ownership of the execution, personally curating the most adventurous and dynamic shots, seamlessly integrating the custom animated typography, and performing the final edit to deliver the film's signature fast-paced, positive experience.

BRAND
IN MOTION

For the campaign I had to come up with different ways to integrate the Yes campaign mantaining the core concept of positive fun travelling. I spent days researching shots and testing ideas to combine that would work in motion.

Hand picking all the shots I also was part of the editing process to ensure that the overall message and style would be consistant.

LOGO
ANIMATION

To keep a consistant identity in all the applications and the campaign I was lastly tasked to develop a final animation that would be used in all media platforms that was easily recognizable.

RESEARCH &
DEVELOPMENT

I had a lot of fun playing with different ideas to animate the typography and how to transition from live footage to graphics or experimenting how the type looks over different footage. I tried many different approaches and some were too over the top or did not work. In the end a simple animation was the better result.
